Personal Growth takes time. These are 5 things I wish I knew 5 years ago

Sharing is caring!

5 years ago, I didn’t know as much as I know now. These are a few things I’ve learned, and what I wish I knew then.

Sushi is delicious

The first time I tried sushi, I was hooked! For so many years, I convinced myself that it was GROSS! But, I found out it was DELICIOUS the first time I tried it at an all-you-could eat buffet. Now, I crave it and can’t get enough.

How to Paint

I didn’t know all the techniques of how to paint, so I decided to take some classes at the local art museum. What an awesome time. I ended up painting a beautiful painting and putting it on display at the student show.

Success! You're on the list.

How to Manage Tasks

Project management is an important skill to have both in life and work. I discovered this when I learned about bullet journaling. I wanted to find out more ways to make my life more balanced. There are many methods for personal task management out there, it is up to me to utilize them as I see fit.

How to Journal

Journaling is important for growth, and I always thought there was only one way to journal as I grew up, but there are different ways to do it. And I also learned that it is incredible to do.

Meditation is Powerful

Healing through meditation can happen. It has helped me rediscover strength within myself through affirmations and positive thinking. When I was stuck on old thoughts, I listened to some guided meditations to get me through to begin anew.
