Essential Oil scents that are perfect for getting started. These essential oils are refreshing, energizing, and pleasant. See which ones I started with in my collection.
My Essential Oil collection: the first 7 scents
Lemongrass essential oil in my collection is refreshing and a light scent that reminds me of a fresh, clean house. I like to put lemongrass in my essential oil scent diffuser when I am cleaning the house.
The rose essential oil blend is sweet and aromatic. I have a bead diffuser that I like to add rose to in my bathroom. When the beads dry out, I add a few drops of the oil, and fill it up again with water.
Eucalyptus is my least used flavor. It reminds me of being ill, so I only get it out when I am ill with a stuffy nose.
The first time I used grapefruit was when the massage place I went to had it on their menu. It is both refreshing and sweet.
Well Balanced (Grounding)
Ahh, the sweet scent of being in a forest. It reminds me of the Pacific Northwest and the Alaska Highway. How energizing and awesome it is to be in nature. When I really want to make my house feel like home, I use this in my diffuser during my healthy nighttime routine.
Sweet Orange & Cassia
Sweet orange and cassia essential oil is so warm and soothing. It’s perfect for a hygge spa at home. When I want to be cozy, I put this one in the diffuser and snuggle up with a good book, warm light, and a light snack.
Guard Against (Defend)
Guard Against is almost like Sweet Orange & Cassia, but a little bit more spicy. I think it came in a group of scents, and I wasn’t able to individually choose it.
